Hi and welcome to my web page.
My name is Casey and I am a 34 year old female with 2 wonderful children.I was born and raised in Kitchener Ontario Canada I moved to Stratford Ontario Canada eleven years ago.Now i reside in Espanola Ontario
At this site I hope that you will learn all I have learned and pass it on.

On this site I will tell you all about my life with my illness, and how I have coped with it each day. Also how my family has coped with it. I will explain to you from my view since I am also new to this.

You can also find more information about Crohns and Colitis and ileostomy's at  www.ldoa.net. There is alot of important information there.

Difference is beauty,
Like lilly's in the water not one alike. Our bodies all different,
Each one enabling us to learn new things about it.
Difference is beauty

This link below called "my new friends" is a special place where each morning I wake up I go and take a peek to see how this special girl is doing. Now I do not know much about Ashley's disease her mom Lori has done a wonderful job of keeping everyone informed on how each day goes for Ashley and lots of information on what it is and how someone could help make her or others smile.I have seen shows and read about it on the Internet but it is a lot nicer to know someone because then it makes you care more. These 2 wonderful people deserve all the thoughts and prayers out there. Ashley has Progeria. Now for those who are like me and do not know much about this  Progeria is a rare genetic condition characterized by an appearance of accelerated aging in children. Its name is derived from the Greek and means "prematurely old."
This happens in about 1 in 8 million newborns so please take a stroll and visit Ashley's and Lori's page. See if maybe your the one to make a difference in the lives of these little children because remember one day yours could be that 1.
Love you Ashley...Smile

Ashley has left us now.  Lori my family prays for ur strengh every day. Your always in our minds and hearts ... GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
